Gaz de France's partnership with the Samu Social

Objective

The Samu Social is an organisation dedicated to helping the most deprived members of society.

Actions

Under this partnership, the Group has:

• released volunteer employees to work with the Paris Samu Social for a period of 3 years. They join the other volunteers as so-called “night prowlers”, sweeping the city to offer help for the homeless,
• provided 2 natural gas fuelled vehicles,
• given financial support to the Samu Social.

Supporting employment - the Gaz de France partnership with the Agir pour l'emploi [action for jobs] Foundation

Objective

To finance job creation schemes through integration agencies, with particular emphasis on vulnerable inner-city neighbourhoods.

Actions

The association is financed through donations by employees, with match-funding by the company.
