Organisation

Gaz de France combines its sustainable development approach with a managerial performance assessment process. The system for deployment and steering the Group's sustainable development policy is implemented at all levels:

  • Sustainable Development Division: this Division coordinates and steers sustainable development at Group level and measures the action taken,
  • Sustainable Development and Ethics Committee (CDDE): its role is to think about the Group's sustainable development policy and to monitor progress. This committee is one of the 7 committees that provide input to the Executive Committee,
  • Sustainable development Correspondents Network: these correspondents represent all the Group's divisions. Their role: to communicate sustainable development policy to all Group personnel.

Risk awareness

The integrated Quality Safety Environment–Risk-management system (QSE-G-R) implemented by Gaz de France's management, enables one, for any given issue:

  • to anticipate threats,
  • to empower the players at all levels,
  • to allocate resources based on a hierarchy of challenges and stakes,
  • to disseminate, implement and monitor policies within the divisions of Gaz de France.

The QSE-G-R system is progressing every year, incorporating such elements as the use of internationally recognised standards, both for certification and assessment.
