The partnership between Gaz de France and the Ministry of Ecology and Sustainable Development
For the 5th year running, Gaz de France is supporting Sustainable Development Week alongside the Ministry of Ecology and Sustainable Development and the Environment and Energy Management Agency (ADEME). The goal is to raise awareness as widely as possible on sustainable development and protecting the planet.

The aims of the operation are :
The Ministry has decided to focus the 2008 programme on one particular topic : sustainable production and consumption. This theme lies at the intersection of the three aspects of sustainable development.
When we buy a product, we also buy the working conditions of the people who produce it, the conditions under which the product is made, used and disposed of, and therefore the impact of all these things on the planet and on people.
From 4 to 6 April 2008, a free event for the general public will take place at the Jardin des Plantes in Paris.
The Gaz de France-PlanetLab partnership
Gaz de France is supporting the Planète Durable [sustainable planet] Exhibition, a unique event which presents concrete solutions for a world that cares more about human beings and their environment.

Planète Durable will open its doors for 4 days of discovery and entertainment focused on eco-consumption in our day-to-day lives. Here, the green, the organic, the ethical, the sustainable and the equitable live in harmony with modernity, design and innovation! This event is also an opportunity to learn, get informed and be entertained by discovering the creativity and enthusiasm that emerges from this new positive economy.
