June 13, 2008 – Gaz de France's Energy France Branch, which is responsible for the Group's Customer Relations, was awarded the "Social Responsibility" label certificate on behalf of Gaz de France. This label is awarded in recognition of an employee-friendly social and managerial environment in the Customer Relations centres.
In the audit carried out with managers, advisers and staff representatives at 7 customer relations centres, the firm Ernst & Young – commissioned by the Ministry of Employment – conducted a day by day check on the implementation of corporate commitments on recruitment and inclusion, career management and pay, social dialogue and social barometer, diversity and ethics, working conditions and electronic surveillance.
Gaz de France aspires to be an efficient, responsible and recognised energy operator, and to demonstrate this commitment to customers, partners and employees alike.
The two-year award of the 2008 Social Responsibility label for the Customer Relations centres reflects the achievement of the Energy France Branch in establishing a responsible and ethical relationship with employees in the Customer Relations centres.
It demonstrates the commitment of all involved and the motivation of management and staff in applying the values of the Gaz de France Group:
One year after the opening up of the markets to residential users, this label honors the continuing efforts made by Gaz de France to improve its services to customers.
