New GrDF mini-website on the Greater Nancy gas engineering works

May 5, 2008

May 5, 2008 – Work to extend the natural gas network across Villers-Lès-Nancy, Vandoeuvre and Nancy began on April 21, 2008 and is set to continue until autumn 2008. For distribution network operator GrDF, the aim is to contribute to the development of Greater Nancy and to meet future natural gas needs for the year 2020.

For this project, GrDF has made undertakings to the Greater Nancy urban community through a charter covering several points:

  • minimising the disturbance caused by the work,
  • completing the work with maximum efficiency,
  • keeping locals informed of progress,
  • incorporating the environmental dimension of the operation.

For GrDF, this work is an opportunity to provide a concrete demonstration of its undertakings and values in action.

GrDF has set up a special mini-website, which you can use to track daily progress and check traffic information. In the near future, the site will provide advance warning of road diversions.
