Paris, 8 April 2008 – Today, the French Government requested the Energy Regulation Commission's opinion on an average increase in the natural gas tariff of €0.264 per KWh. This would represent an average tariff increase of 5.5% for customers using natural gas for heating.

The new tariff will be applied once the CRE has given its opinion.
